Printing company based in Northern New Jersey seeks QA/QC Manager.

 

This job is split between responsibilities on the production floor and the office. Travel to customer locations is required. The ideal candidates must have strong organizational and computer skills and the ability to handle multiple demands on their time.  Minimum two years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing facility is required.

 

Some of the responsibilities include:

 

• Train and educate employees on procedures in QA, QC and Safety

• Manage a Safety Committee

• Create QC procedures and oversee implementation

• Prepare for the yearly external ISO 14001, 9001and 18001 audit’s as well as OSHA

• Perform quality checks on production floor

• Lead client audits

• Handle with customer and supplier complaints

• Write SOPs and make sure they are implemented

• Organize and present monthly statistics to management team
